Description: Midland Quarry, Nuneaton, (near Midland Station). Looking E. Quartzite and diorite quarry in Tuttle Hill beds. The tramway follows the dip very closely (is about 30 degrees while that of quartzite seen to the left is about 35 degrees). The quartzite belongs to the middle division (Tuttle Hill Quartzite) of the Hartshill Quartzite. The conglomerate at the base of the Keuper Sandstone is seen under the buildings on the right.
