Description: | Natural arch and Reynards Cave, Dove Dale. Looking NE. The natural arch with Reynard's Cave behind. In the massive knoll-reef limestones of Dove Dale, a group of craggy ridges have been left standing between solution-widened joints trending roughly north-west to south-east. The cave, and the natural arch through one of these ridges, have been formed along a closely-spaced group of cross joints intersecting the major set. |
