Description: | This mysterious specimen bears the numbers 2886. A four digit numbering system was used by Charles Darwin to archive his specimens from the Voyage of the Beagle � and this is probably another one of Darwin's fossils. At least seven similar slides are in the British Geological Survey collection. Age: unknown. |
