Description: Eyemouth Fort. SW view. Glacial deposits. Boulder clay rests on bedded gravel with thick band of bedded sand. On left the lower beds abut against pale purple lavas of Lower Old Red Sandstone age, marking the south-east limit of a channel. The drift deposits are c. 13 m. thick.
