Description: Stud Hill, E. of Coastguard Station between Swalecliffe and Herne Bay. Landslipping of London Clay cliffs. Beneath what is left of the concrete road is a little gravelly Head, all that remains of a fair-sized patch of drift eroded away since shown in Old Series one-inch map, sheet 3. Note grass growing on mass to the left and on a smaller mass slipped only half-way down from the original cliff-top.
