Description: Little Orme from Great Orme, Caernarvonshire (Gwynedd). Looking E. View of Llandudno Bay and Little Ormes Head from the Great Orme. Bedded and knoll limestones of Dyserth Limestone Group (Carboniferous Limestone) on north limb of Gloddaeth Syncline. Craigside (Craig-y-Don) on right - mass of drift overlying faulted Denbigh Grit Group (Wenlock), and also Llandovery and Caradoc-Ashgill series (nowhere seen). Background: hills behind Prestatyn, Clydian Hills and the Vale of Clwyd. Parts of Rhyl and Abergele can just be discerned.
